Where can I buy a fishing license?
Fishing licenses can be purchased locally at Lee’s Ford Marina, Burnside Marina, Paul’s Discount, Wal-Mart, Lake Cumberland Outdoors-Pro Bass Shop and all marinas on Lake Cumberland. Licenses may also be purchased online at www.fw.ky.gov.
Where can I go to get statewide fishing and boating information?

Where do I obtain a boating license?
Boating licenses can be obtained from the Pulaski County Clerk at the Pulaski County Courthouse in downtown Somerset. For information, call (606) 679-2042.

Where can I rent a boat?
You can rent a boat from one of the ten marinas located around Lake Cumberland. We also have some that rent pontoons and will take them to your preferred drop off location. For a complete list, visit the Boat Rental page.
Is there a dinner tour boat on Lake Cumberland?
WakeCumberland Watersports offers two options- a lake tour boat cruise and a Houseboat Dinner Cruise. For more information visit the Watersports page on our website. The Cumberland Star Riverboat is an option for a breakfast, lunch, or dinner cruise on the headwater of Lake Cumberland, the boat meets at Mouth of Laurel Boat Ramp.
How do I become a short-term rental host?
Short Term Rentals in Pulaski County need to be registered with our office. The Registration Form needs to be filled out and returned to our office. Once that registration form is received, we will assign you a Tax ID number and Certificate. Monthly you will be required to report your gross rental amount minus state sales tax, some platforms will collect and remit that payment for you while others may not, so it is your responsibility as a host to collect and remit to our office if the platform of your choosing is not.
