Kentucky Mercantile Christmas Market – The Fifth Quarter, 517 E. Racetrack Rd., Somerset, KY, 10am-5pm; November 19th. A special Saturday to buy the most unique CHRISTMAS gifts! Country Christmas– Create new memories and traditions with some holiday fun at Bear Wallow Farm. Christmas Island– Join the City of Burnside each week from November 18th to December 31st for fun for the whole family! Christmas Island at General Burnside Island features beautiful Christmas light displays each night, alongside additional events throughout the season, including the Burnside Christmas Parade and the Jingle Bell Run 5K!

Downtown Somerset Christmas Parade– Join the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce in Downtown Somerset on December 3rd for one of the biggest Christmas Parades around! The theme for this year is The Polar Express. Celebrate all day long with WTLO’s Christmas on the Square from 1p-5p, where there will be a vendor’s village, Santa’s house, and a children’s book walk then after will be the Tree Lighting Ceremony!  Other Christmas Parades in area are Burnside (Dec. 3) and Eubank (TBA).

Miracle on 34th StreetFlashback Theater presents Miracle on 34th Street! After a divorced New York mother hires a nice old man to play Santa Claus at Macy’s, she is startled by his claim to be the genuine article. When his sanity is questioned, a lawyer defends him in court by arguing that he’s not mistaken. Thursday, December 8th at 7:30 p.m.

2nd Annual Jingle Ball at the Center- Come out and Christmas shop, bring the kids to meet Santa and get their pictures taken, enter giveaways and raffles, eat some great food, meet new people and take advantage of some early Christmas shopping at the Center for Rural Development.. You will also be supporting our local small businesses. Free admission.
