Thunder Over the Island Fireworks Show and 2-Day Festival – Cole Park, 7929 S Hwy 27, Downtown Burnside, KY, 4:30pm-10pm Friday and 4:30pm-10pm Saturday. Join Burnside Tourism for Thunder Over the Island. Both days include food trucks, vendors, a Beer Garden, live music and more for the entire family. Friday’s headliner is “Exile” at 8pm with “Tone Control” opening at 6pm. In addition to the Fireworks, Food Trucks, vendors and Beer Garden, Saturday also includes a Kid’s area with inflatables. The music begins with “Radiotronic” at 6pm then Walker Montgomery headlining at 8pm. Fireworks begin after the concert.
