National Public Lands Day at Mill Springs Battlefield – Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument, 9020 W. Hwy 80, Nancy, KY, 9am-1pm. Join us on National Public Lands Day and help us plant native plant species in the beds around our Visitor Center! A Master Gardener will also give a short presentation on the importance of planting native plant species and their positive effects on the ecosystem. This project is part of an effort to create a more eco-friendly and sustainable landscape at the Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument Visitor Center.
