12th Annual Lake Cumberland Thunder Run – Lake Cumberland State Dock, 6365 State Park Rd. Jamestown, KY. Presented by the Lake Cumberland Powerboat Club, the Thunder Run is the spring Poker Run on beautiful Lake Cumberland. State Dock will continue as the host marina, other stops along the run are Conley Bottom, Burnside area, Wolf Creek Marina, Beaver Creek Marina and State Dock. There will be live entertainment on both Friday and Saturday nights. Lake Cumberland Thunder Run COVID-19 update. The Lake Cumberland Thunder Run is on as scheduled for June 19th-20th 2020. The Lake Cumberland Powerboat Club has been in contact with the KY governor’s office and they feel optimistic that our event will be able to take place on its scheduled date. We have also been communicating closely with the Lure Lodge and with State Dock Marina to ensure facility availability and readiness. We will make social distancing additions and changes as mandated but are doing everything in our power to produce the Lake Cumberland Thunder Run this year as scheduled.
