Cornbread Festival at Mill Springs Mill

Mill Springs Mill Annual Cornbread Festival – Mill Springs Mill Park, 9155 Hwy 1275 N. Monticello, KY 11am-1:30pm. Sponsored by the Monticello Woman’s Club in partnership with the Mill Springs Battlefield Association. Enjoy pinto beans, onions, relish and mill-ground cornmeal “hoecakes” plus a variety of desserts all in a beautiful setting overlooking the historic Mill Springs Grist Mill. An alternative hot dog and fixins lunch is available. In addition to enjoying a great country meal, shop the many artisans booths, tour the mill (grinding will be done at 2pm), the Brown-Lanier House and West-Metcalf House and listen to live music.
