Somernites Cruise Car Show and Cruise – Downtown Somerset – Somernites Cruise is excited to announce that the July 25th Show will be the opening show for the 2020, 20th Anniversary cruise season. Join us every 4th Saturday, April through October, in Somerset “The Car Cruise Capital of Kentucky” for Somernites Cruise. Enjoy a relaxed, family oriented atmosphere throughout downtown Somerset with July featuring Truckin’ Nationals Showcase. July will also include Celebrity Guest Aaron Kaufman of the hit TV shows “Fast & Loud” and “Shifting Gears.” The “Show and Shine” portion of the event lasts from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. “Cruising the Strip” begins at 7 p.m. Each Friday before the Cruise, be at Somerset Mall for Friday Night Thunder-vintage cars, music, children’s activities and more. The safety of all Somernites event attendee’s is our primary concern. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak we ask that you maintain social distancing while at the July show. That means allowing a minimum of 6 feet between yourself and others. We also ask that you do not gather in large groups and wearing a mask is strongly encouraged. Several hand sanitizer stations will be setup inside the show area and we invite you to use them frequently. If you feel sick, PLEASE stay home!
