Lieutenant Gifford is a retired Navy SEAL with 22 years of distinguished service. A Lexington, KY, native and BUD/S Class 177 graduate, he served with SEAL Teams ONE, FOUR, and TEN, leading missions across the Pacific, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He also supported efforts to recover Vietnam War Missing in Action service members. His awards include the Bronze Star with “V” device and multiple commendations.
